Meet The Founder

For nearly a decade, Brandon W. Groves has worked in dentistry with an emphasis on professional practice transitions. Brandon is a lifelong Baltimorean whose exposure to the dental profession began as a child when he would accompany his father, Dr. Keith W. Groves, to his job at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he has been employed for nearly 40 years and currently serves as the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement, though alumni may remember him from his tenure in gross anatomy or, more recently, a continuing education (CE) event. There, Brandon developed an appreciation for and a unique perspective of the dental profession. Mr. Groves received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, where he graduated with honors.

More than just a broker, Brandon is a strategic business partner for his clients who understands the day-to-day operations of a practice. Brandon has led operations for single location private practices as well as overseen their expansion through multiple acquisitions. He has also led multi-state group practice operations for a large corporation. During this time, Brandon had full responsibility for practice acquisitions, divestitures, and post-sale transitions.  Brandon has a comprehensive understanding of the way professional practices operate and the challenges they encounter in order to anticipate the needs of his clients and assess both risks and advantages of a given transition. Brandon approaches both sales and purchases strategically; he pays considerable attention to the financials and operations pre-sale and is committed to helping ensure the success of a practice post-sale. Thorough and quality-oriented are among Brandon's strongest attributes, and Brandon places a premium on delivering exceptional, tailored customer service with a commitment to prompt and transparent communication.

He resides in Perry Hall with his wife, Lauren, and their daughter. When not conducting business or spending time with his family, Mr. Groves enjoys drumming and is a car enthusiast.
